This release note applies only to the 8.5 releases of Web Services and Applications that are specified in the Contents (above).

This release includes the following corrections and modifications:


Workspace Web Edition

In environments where the value of the interaction.reject-route option is set to single-step transfer interactions to a routing point from a switch other than the one from the agent's DN, you can now enable agents to reject interactions that are not identified as being routed to the agent. Previously in this scenario, the Reject button was not available in the interaction notification. To enable this feature, set the value of the privilege.voice.can-single-step-transfer-ringing-call option to true. (HTCC-31685)


Workspace Web Edition

In environments that use the Knowledge Center module, the Chronological Slider now displays correctly in the My History view. Previously, if an agent viewed the My History view, navigated to the Interaction Search view, then back to the My History view, the Chronological Slider was no longer displayed. (HTCC-31648)


Web Services API

The updateInteractionForSetContact option is added to the serverSettings section in the application.yaml file. The default value is false. When set to true, Web Services uses RequestUpdateInteraction instead of RequestAssignInteractionToContact when the SetContact request is called. Use RequestUpdateInteraction to prevent UCS from updating the ThreadId attribute of an interaction, which, in some scenarios, might lead to orphaned interactions in a UCS database. (HTCC-31581)
